MECAHITECH’12 International Conference is in our view an opportunity for interaction and exchange of experience and good practice between specialists from universities, institutes / centers and companies that carry out research in the areas of mechatronics and precision mechanical engineering and new high-tech product development and introduction or upgrading of micro-nano technologies and advanced manufacturing.  MECAHITECH focuses specifically on those institutions and companies interested in co-operations in scientific projects in these fields.  Our intention is to identify common points of interest for participations in international co-operation activities such as scientific agreements, integration of doctoral students in companies / European universities, technology transfer, thematic networks on EU European research projects, and so on.

The National Institute for Research and Development in Mechatronics and Measuring Technique – INCDMTM – Bucharest, as main organizer, announces the fourth edition of MECAHITECH International Conference – „4th International Conference on Innovations, Recent Trends and Challenges in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering and New High-Tech Products Development”. The Conference will tale place in Bucharest between the 26th and 28th of September 2012. 

After being sorted by famous evaluators in the International Programme Committee, the high scientific papers presented at the Conference will be published in the Proceedings (on CD) and in Romanian Review: Precision Optics, Mechanics and Mechatronics (http://www.incdmtm.ro/editura/revista/), indexed in EBSCO and SCOPUS international databases. Also, the MECAHITECH Proceedings are in evaluation by ISI and INSPEC.

MECAHITECH’12 conference topics are:

  • High-tech mechatronic, micro-mechatronic and nano-mechatronic systems;
  • Mechatronic processes in production and intelligent integrated control;
  • Mechatronic Intelligent system production and control;
  • Computer integrated production;
  • Robotics / micro-robotics and nano-robotics;
  • Modeling and simulation;
  • Integrated intelligent control systems;
  • Computer image and imaging processing;
  • Operations Planning and control
  • Bio-medical and bio-mechatronic systems;
  • Communication and distributed intelligent systems;
  • Technology transfer of high-tech mechatronic products into the industry;
  • High productivity and high added value industrial services;
  • Sensors / micro-nano-sensors and transducers / micro-nano-transducers;
  • System and computer engineering;
  • Integronic engineering;
  • Intelligent micro-engineering;
  • Intelligent measurement technique.

The Conference organizers will propose a framework to promote international co-operation and exchange of best practices in the areas mentioned above and in other related fields.
The language of communication at the conference will be English.

  • It is a pleasure to have a honor to add my name to the “carte de onoare ”. I wish to congratulate the Organization of the 1st MECAHITECH International Conference and in particular the Chairman, Professor Ion Gheorghe, for this initiative for promoting the exchange of research experiences and views and ideas, and also for launching seeds for Romanian participation and collaboration in international projects, mainly under the European Union Research Framework.

    Conferences such as Mecahitech 2009 need to be promoted and supported, not only to show the valuable work undergoing at Romanian Universities and Research Centers, but also to bring together experiences from various countries and to promote the exchange of experiences in order to be able to work together on projects at European level.
